Summary of Job
Fluid Mechanics is a rapidly expanding consulting company seeking an experienced professional to join our team of outstanding employees.  We're looking for great communicators who can understand complex material and relay it to customers.  As a consultant, you will be providing high quality, hands on, instruction to swimmers.  Also, you will be responsible for maintaining Fluid Mechanics esteemed reputation within the swimming industry.   Progress happens quickly at Fluid Mechanics and to be successful here you’ll need to be adaptable, flexible, and capable of working both independently and within teams.

Essential Job Qualifications/Functions

Minimum Qualifications
• Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
(Bachelors Degree in education or related field a plus)
• Hold current First Aid, CPR, and Lifeguard certifications by time of hire
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with a proven ability to manage time
• Internet access
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work weekends
• Competitive swimming experience a plus

Work Environment
• Our consultants spend the majority of their instructional time on their feet - poolside.
• Remote job - a non office environment.

Additional Information
Location of job: Northern NJ
Hours: Weekends and weekday evenings, year-round
Job type: Part-time (minimum of 12 hours/week) with the ability to set your own hours
Pay: Generous hourly salary, travel reimbursements, unlimited earning potential through sales commissions, and after annual review availability for generous part time benefit packages
Training: Approximately 7-8 weeks, online with written and practical exams
Growth: Ability to move up within the company

About the Founder

John B. Waldman is a world respected leader in competitive swimming instruction, having learned for five years under the legendary Doc Counsilman and captaining the Indiana Swim Team. Waldman is the creator of the "VisionWorks"TM Training System, inventor of the FM Avatars; author of "The Swimming Machine" educational series, and president of Fluid Mechanics.
