In this interview, John speaks with Jialin "Sunny" Sun, a former world-ranked swimmer and current head coach. Sunny grew up and started swimming in China, and went to school at University of Nevada where she set numerous records at the school and in the conference. She went on to get her master's degree from University of Hawaii and started coaching there. Currently she is head coach and president of the Sun-shine Aquatics Swim Club in Honolulu Hawaii. Sunny discusses with John some of her past races and accomplishments, shares tips for competitive swimmers, and gives some of her thoughts on the mental aspects of swimming.
